What is the Aroostech Program?

Shorey IT is on a mission to connect rural communities. A great way for businesses to connect with people are websites. The Aroostech program aims to provide businesses that would otherwise not be able to afford a website a chance to get a head start.

Once the website is developed, you own the files and may take them with you to another provider at any time. Our websites are based on WordPress, so they are highly compatible with other providers and systems.

Who can Apply?

We welcome anyone who think they may qualify to apply to this program. You don’t need to have income, you just need a business!

To qualify for the Aroostech Program, you must be a registered business in Aroostook County, Maine. Your business must have less than $1M ARR. For more information, and to get started, fill out the application below. After you submit the form, we will contact you using the information you provided with our decision and next steps. Shorey IT reserves the right to deny any application, for any reason. We’ll make every reasonable effort to explain our decision and provide you with resources should you be denied.

What’s the Catch?

We’re looking to build our portfolio and new relationships. We’re not going to run this program for very long, and don’t plan to make a profit from it. Helping the communitity is enough of a benefit for us.
